This book is accompanied by the OpenDoc Class Reference CD-ROM, a CD-ROM disc that contains the complete text of the OpenDoc Class Reference for the Mac OS. The OpenDoc Class Reference for the Mac OS is the complete reference to the OpenDoc programming interface. It documents all classes, methods, types, and constants defined by OpenDoc for use by part-editor developers.
The OpenDoc Class Reference CD-ROM includes two electronic versions of the Class Reference plus additional useful programming information. The CD-ROM contains these items, among others:

The complete OpenDoc Class Reference for the Mac OS in QuickView format--the same format used by the Macintosh Programmer's Toolbox Assistant. In this format, you can use full-text searching capabilities and ubiquitous hypertext jumps to find reference information quickly. You can even search for informa-
tion and retrieve method templates from within development environments that can communicate with QuickView.
The complete OpenDoc Class Reference for the Mac OS in Adobe™ Acrobat™ format. This format provides a fully formatted book with page-numbered table of contents, index, and cross-references. You can print all or portions of the book, and you can also view it online. When viewing online, you can use the indexed search facilities of Adobe Acrobat Reader 2.1 for fast lookup of any information in the book.
Source code for SamplePart, the sample part editor developed by the OpenDoc team. SamplePart is documented fully in the OpenDoc Cookbook for the Mac OS.
